ABS: see Binary System.
AIC: stands for Astroshamanic Intentional Configuration.
APT: see Astroshamanic Practitioner Training.
ASEPTIC: stands for Astroshamanic Small Events Provisional Training Intensive Course.
Astroshamanic Gateway Series: A series of workshops and retreats devoted to the experiential understanding and astroshamanic exploration of multidimensional gateways, parallel universes, alternative configurations, the Sacred Cone and the Provisional Order. A first introductory version of such workshops is Awakening your Multidimensional Self scheduled in Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Rome and other European cities. If you are interested to organise, take part in, or receive more details on the Astroshamanic Gateway Series training, please contact info@astroshamanism.org
Astroshamanic Practitioner Training, or APT: a formation process aimed at training individuals to become proficient astroshamanic practitioners. The APT consists of a general charter (Astroshamanic Intentional Configuration, or AIC) applied to all trainees, and a specialised curriculum based on specific individual talents. The APT includes three independent units: a two-year Foundation Course, a two-year Accreditation Course and a one-year Practice Training with the direct supervision of Franco Santoro. The Operative Training in Astroshamanism, which can also be taken during the Foundation Course, is a requirement for participation, as well as an interview and a series of introductory sessions with Franco. Astroshamanic formation is also aimed at training shamanic practitioners who wish to draw inspiration from this work, integrate it with other methods, support other lineages and traditions, or develop their own method, without necessarily becoming astroshamanic practitioners.
Astroshamanic Touch: a multidimensional bodywork application of astroshamanism, developed by Franco Santoro, meant as explicit tool for bridging HAC and non-HAC, physical with non-physical, the spiritual realms, and uncovering the dynamics of the bona fide horny bit. See: Franco’s workshops on the topic.
Astroshamanic Trance Dance: a unique system of astroshamanic healing through movement, sound and rituality developed by Franco Santoro.
Astroshamanism: click here for basic information or check the official website on astroshamanism: http://www.astroshamanism.org
ATS: see Trinity System.
Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone: a classical astroshamanic ritual celebrated individually or with a group. It includes three main stages (Intent, Release, Integration), which correspond to three of the Twelve Sectors. The ritual functions as the main reference structure for astroshamanic healing. It is also nicknamed multidimensional composting or spiritual loo. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 58-59.
BFHB: see Bona Fide Horny Bit.
Bhi Jinah: spirit guide beings filling the gaps between HAC and non-HAC, drawing attention to the linking space existing between separated physical forms. See: http://www.astroshamanism.org/en/art/bhijinah.htm.
Binary System: or ABS (Astroshamanic Binary System), comprises the 144 combinations between the Sun and the Moon position in the 12 Sectors of the Sacred Circle. The 12 Sectors are associated with the 12 zodiac signs and houses given in their natural order: 1 Aries, 2 Taurus, 3 Gemini, 4 Cancer, 5 Leo, 6 Virgo, 7 Libra, 8 Scorpio, 9 Sagittarius; 10 Capricorn, 11 Aquarius, 12 Pisces. The combination is described by putting together the number of the Sun’s Sector followed by the number of the Moon’s Sector, separated by a dot or hyphen. Hence, for Sun in Libra and Moon in Aries, the reference is 7.1. ABS is the psychoactive matrix of HAC, and the emanation point of all the substances and devices that alter human mood, behaviour, perception, or mental functioning. In astroshamanism binaries are ingested as core psychoactive essences. Their intake is a vibratory experience occurring either through natural exposure - when the condition of the binary is spontaneously generated by the environment (for example: during the days of the related Sun-Moon combination) or virtual exposure - when ABS is purposefully selected by the recipient through practices such as the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone.
Books on astroshamanism: Franco Santoro, Astroshamanism Book One: A Journey into the Inner Universe, Findhorn Press, 2003; Franco Santoro, Astroshamanism Book Two: The Voyage Through the Zodiac, Findhorn Press, 2003; Franco Santoro, Iniziazione all'astrosciamanesimo: la via zodiacale alla guida interiore, Edizioni Mediterranee, 2000; Franco Santoro, A Provisional Guide Book to the First Level Training in Astroshamanism, SCP, 2000.
Bona Fide Horny Bit, or BFHB: most contentious term identifying the direct link with CMI. This link plays a crucial role in the production of HAC, holding both the keys of its survival and annihilation. As a result the bona fide horny bit may be experienced with the largest dichotomy of feelings.
CMI: see Spirit Guide.
Consciousness Diverting Mechanism (CDM): a strategic device aimed at preserving HAC and disconnecting human perception from non-HAC awareness.
Core Multidimensional Identity (CMI): see Spirit Guide.
Ego, or HAC: it refers to the psyche based on the belief of separation. The Gnostic term for ego is eidolon, “image”, from which the word “idea” comes from, and is regarded as the “parasitic psyche”, the idea of being the physical body, rather than the consciousness which has produced the idea itself. The healing path involves realizing that I am not the ego and gradually retrieving the complete awareness of my core multidimensional identity.
Epic of the Sacred Cone: a provisional collection of documents and transmissions, which constitute the strategic mythic reference of the astroshamanic cosmology and lineage. A purposefully simplified compendium of one of these documents is provided in: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 172-183.
False Guides: HAC fake expression of a Spirit Guide. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 87-89.
Franco Santoro: The originator of astroshamanism and lineage keeper of the Sacred Cone Circle.
Function: identified with forgiveness, meant as release, undoing or healing of the illusion of separation. Astroshamanic healing involves connecting the Intent with the Function. In this context it is the availability of the Intent to connect with the Function, and not its nature, that guarantees the healing work. It is like the following prayer: “Oh Spirit Guide, my perception is limited and I am aware that I do not fully know what I want. For what I can perceive of the luminous part in me, I feel that I want .... and I am ready to work with You so as to manifest that. This is my Intent, that I connect with the Function to signify, that at any moment, I am ready to surrender to Your will” See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 39-46.
Game Resolution: the undoing of the illusion of separation and the completion of the related game (Game of the Sacred Cone).
Graha: fourth-dimensional entities resulting from the projections of grievances or denied parts into third dimensional reality. They feed on awareness and blur it with the mirage of a separated consciousness. They can also be regarded as release material representing a key substance for creation and growth both at dense and subtle levels. When they are consciously focused to an Intent connected with the Function, they contribute to the undoing of separation and the perception of unity. If this is not the case, they operate as antagonistic forces supporting separation and blocking the portals to the expansion of consciousness. The transformation of Graha into fertile compost takes place when they are released though the Sacred Cone. Such operation allows Graha to be directed to those dimensions (like the epic Handor and Rodnah) which can employ them productively. Graha can also be considered as shamanic forms connected with shadow sides of ourselves that do not allow us to access key strategic operative areas so as to avoid causing damage to ourselves and others. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 110-120.
Great Tree: the multi-dimensional centre, the axis mundi, the bridge linking the three worlds and the gateway used by shamans and spirits to pass from one world to another. In astroshamanism it is surrounded by 12 stones, representing the Twelve Sectors, and 4 larger stones, indicating the 4 Directions. This area, called Spirit Circle, is the starting point of all shamanic explorations.
Grey Sphere: area of connection between the White Sphere and the Black Sphere, It is a multidimensional reality, which also includes HAC, created by the other two spheres to contribute either to their connection or separation. The structure of the Grey Sphere includes the traditional three Worlds of the vertical axis. The apex of the Higher World is the superior point of the Grey Sphere and corresponds to Handor, whereas the apex of the Lower World is the inferior point and is named Rodnah. The point at the centre of the Sphere, whose wide circumference at a horizontal level constitutes the Middle World, is called Pahai. The Grey Sphere is summarily inhabited by five main typologies of beings: Sadoha, Spirit Guides or sixth-dimensional entities, consisting of Ha Sadoha, white or light beings of the Higher World, and Ma Sadoha, black or dark beings of the Lower World; Pahai Sadoha, beings of the Middle World mediating between light and darkness; Paheka, Totem Spirits and fifth-dimensional entities divided into the two polarities of Hare and Mare Paheka, white and black Totem Spirits; Graha, separated fourth-dimensional entities born through the intercourse of the above polarities of Paheka and proliferated into subsequent fragmented three-dimensional variations (like the Zruddhah, i.e. humanoids); Pahai Etnaire, multi-dimensional beings and strategic entities purposefully connected with the Game Resolution; Bhi Jinah, unifying strategic entities activated by the intercourse of Pahai Etnaire and Sadoha.
HAC: stands for Human Arbitrary Configuration, which is the human consensus or ordinary reality based on separation and denial of other realities. It also stands for the identity based on separation, i.e. the ego. The term non-HAC identifies non-ordinary realities in general.
Handorian States System: a strategic mythic matrix reality aimed at integrating 3rd-dimensional perception with multidimensional states of consciousness, i.e. HAC with non-HAC. Its functions sustain both the undoing of separation and its preservation. These functions, although apparently contradictory when expressed through conventional languages, constitute the foundations of the ecstatic multidimensional realms existing beyond human limited perception. The Handorian States System consists of 12 States, each composed of 12 Nations, and one Central State, called Handor. The strategic counterpart of Handor is Rodnah.
Higher World, or Handor: a realm made up of different layers traditionally inhabited by spiritual masters, gods, planets, stars, cosmic beings from other planets, solar systems or galaxies. In fourthdimensional terms it is associated with the future.
Horizontal Axis: the peripheral structure in the cosmology of the Sacred Cone, comprising four Directions and 12 Sectors.
Intent: the purest expression of one’s purpose in life, or in a specific situation in space or time, as it is understandable within the separate reality of the ego, or HAC. The Intent is a basic tool for healing when it aligns with the Function. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 39-46.
Level 1: based on the physical realm, the identification with three-dimensional, or physical, forms and the perception of separation. It represents a level of perception limited to the personality and the conventional reality, or HAC. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 26-28.
Level 2: associated with fourth and fifth dimensional, or emotional and mental, realms. It includes the thought system based on the illusion of separation and the residual memories or reflections of thought systems founded on unity. Level 2 constitutes the causative source of Level 1, or HAC, and the agent of choice between either the preservation and expansion or retrieval and undoing of the fragmented universe produced by the ego. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp.27-28.
Level 3: related to sixth dimensional, or spiritual, forms, and the states of consciousness beyond the illusion of separation. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp.27-28.
Lower World, or Rodnah: the realm of instinctive understanding where traditionally animal, vegetal and mineral powers abide together with all the beings related with the deepest mysteries of this planet and other similar dimensions. It may also be the place where some beings go when they leave their physical body or where bodies proceed when the beings that inhabit them depart.
Middle World, or Pahai: it includes HAC, as well as non-HAC elements, and operates as bridge or block between Higher and Lower World. The circular base of two multidimensional spiral cones placed one on top of the other.
Non-HAC: see HAC.
Operative Training in Astroshamanism: a complete ongoing system of teaching, devised for training healers and shamanic practitioners in accordance with the initiatory tradition of the Sacred Cone Circle. The basic intent of this tradition is to foster the reawakening of our original multidimensional nature and the release of grievances based on the perception of separation. In this context, initiation is not about receiving instant powers and radically shifting your life, although this at times may happen. The Training comprises three autonomous stages of formation (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) with a flexible structure that can be tailored to fit individual needs and situations, including a home-study course. Previous participation to an Astroshamanic Seminar, or a cycle of individual sessions, and a specific interview with Franco Santoro are a prerequisite for attendance. Before deciding to join the Training, applicants will examine their current life situation and purpose in order to verify whether this step can truly serve them. Entry into the Training also requires that intuition or specific guidance (received through a vision or dream) proves that this work is appropriate. A Provisional Guide Book to the Basic First Level of the Operative Training in Astroshamanism constitutes the original text designed for the Basic First Level. For further information contact training@astroshamanism.org
Pahai, or Sacred Cone: a strategic and provisional device located in the Grey Sphere and aimed at establishing a link between White Sphere and Black Sphere. It constitutes the primal healing device in astroshamanic work.
Pahai Idrah: the major festivity in the lineage of the Sacred Cone Circle taking place from sunset of 1 July to sunset of 2 July.
Paheka Rubhe: the ABS block made up of 144 combinations of 12 Paheka, or Totem Spirits, double polarities that limit the expansion of human perception. Undoing these combinations and retrieving the medicine of each of the sectors is one of the strategic tasks of astroshamanic work. PAN: stands for Provisional Astroshamanic Newsletter. To receive a copy or to subscribe please contact PAN@astroshamanism.org
Provisional Order, or Provordo Etnai: the primary lineage of astroshamanism operating as a strategic arbitrary configuration purposefully aimed at establishing links between HAC and non-HAC, while serving the interests of both parties.
Sacred Circle: a third-dimensionally visible multidimensional space fully aligned with the perception of unity and operating as a bridge between human separated reality (HAC), and the multidimensional realms (non-HAC). It consists traditionally of Twelve Sectors and 4 Directions. See also Sacred Cone Circle
Sacred Cone: see Pahai.
Sacred Cone Circle: it refers to a Sacred Circle specifically employed for astroshamanic healing purposed involving the Sacred Cone. It is also the term employed to identify the secondary lineage of astroshamanism and a group of human beings, accredited by Franco Santoro, officially gathering for astroshamanic healing purposes.
Sacred Tool: third-dimensional, or physical, manifestation of a Spirit Medicine. When they proceed directly from a Spirit Medicine, they are called Sacred Implanted Tools, or Pahai Sahe Rupah, and constitute the most powerful form. When they are activated by a Sacred Implanted Tool, they are named Sacred Auxiliary Tools, or Pahai Nahe Rupah. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 123-125.
Spirit Circle: a core multidimensional space, not visible third-dimensionally, fully aligned with the perception of unity and operating as a bridge between human separated reality (HAC), and the multidimensional realms (non-HAC). It is traditionally depicted as a circle of 12 stones, representing the 12 Sectors, and 4 larger stones, indicating the 4 Directions. It is the strategic starting point of astroshamanic voyages. See also Sacred Cone Circle.
Spirit Guide, or Core Multidimensional Identity, Sadoh: the part of consciousness fully aligned with the perception of unity and operating as a bridge between human separated reality (HAC), and the multidimensional realms (non-HAC). It is an emanation of the Spirit Circle, providing security and protection. In astroshamanism there are different strategic typologies of Spirit Guides: Vertical Guides (associated with one of the Three Worlds), Horizontal Guides (specialised entities corresponding to the four Directions, the Twelve Sectors and to further subdivisions of the Sacred Circle) and Bhi Jinah. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 81-92.
Spirit Medicine: or Pahai Tulah, multidimensional and non-HAC power tools connected with the development of potentials related to a specific Spirit Totem. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 121-125.
Spirit Totem: or Paheka, the basic archetype of the astroshamanic cosmology and the original models from which all human perceptions derive. They correspond astrologically to planets or constellations and mythically to the gods or heroes of the various civilisations that have developed or arrived on this planet. See: F. Santoro, Astroshamanism: A Journey into the Inner Universe, pp. 93-104.
Trinity System: or ATS (Astroshamanic Trinity System), includes the ABS plus the zodiac sign of the Ascendant. The position of the Ascendant follows the Sun-Moon combination. For example, Sun in Virgo and Moon in Scorpio with Ascendant in Scorpio is described as 6.8.8. To sum it up, the first number is the Sun’s position, the second is the Moon’s position, and the third is the Ascendant’s position.
Twelve Sectors: 12 essential energy patterns that, together with the Four Directions, form the horizontal axis of the Sacred Circle. Each Sector corresponds to a specific time of the year and to one of the twelve epic helices of the original human DNA. The 12 Sectors represent the complete range of awareness in human beings as described by the strategic potential DNA structure of 12 helices. The original aim of the structure of the Twelve Sectors is to support the healing from separation. This involves the acceptance, recognition and integration of each part of me as it is represented by each Sector.
Vertical Axis: the central structure in the cosmology of the Sacred Cone Circle.
